The pool The car on the freedom pitch which ultimately saved the holiday
sadly this was not what I was expecting and not what the website stated. its clearly a campsite which is nearing its end of life other than the pool there was nothing at all to do and although I enjoy peace and quiet there was a deathly silence to the place completely void of any atmosphere or life almost oppressive in its silence No entertainment quiz nights or barbecues on the terrace as per website no choices of regional wines as I would expect at a french campsite no stocked local shop in reception too many Do Not signs everywhere. It needs a complete change of direction to survive.

Heerlijke plek. We hadden de freedom pitch geboekt met auto, waardoor we de prachtige omgeving konden bekijken. Bij terugkomst heerlijk afkoelen in zwembad. Slecht bereik met internet waardoor je echt ontspant. 😉. Eigenaren zijn super aardig.

Top. Je kunt staan waar je wil. Schaduw en zonplekken. Water en afvoer aanwezig.

Adults only, made to feel very welcome, nice relaxing atmosphere. Some entertainment and the opportunity to both meet people if you wish, restaurant on site with good home cooking. Use the freedom pitch what a great idea to get about when you are using a motorhome. Excellent loved it

When we arrived we stayed on a smaller pitch than the RV as we did not need the size. Very flexible about changingZ

The hosts are brilliant down to earth people who are welcoming and knowledgeable about both their site and the region. We had a hire car pitch which was excellent and certainly a useful if not almost a required addition if you want to explore and don’t have a car with you due to the narrow roads for bigger rigs.
We were lucky to move our pitch to a better located one for satellite and mobile reception which if you want to have both or either can be difficult on this site. 10 yrs ago this would not have been an issue, sadly nowadays we are all used to being connected and this is the only downside to this location. However it is more than made up for by the wildlife and hosts Stuart and Shiela who both go above and beyond the call of duty.

We stay there for one week. The warm and friendly hospitality was a plaesure. The rental car eas great for the small streets in this area. The impressiest was the daily dinner, perfect created by Sheila and served by Stuart.

Car included to get to local places of interest. Rocamadour. It was just one of the most amazing places I had ever seen. We could never have got there in our motorhome. One day, however, we decided to stay on site as it was so relaxing. Had an excellent meal there in the evening.
